Every peach I eat, I think the next one can\u2019t possibly be more delicious, but somehow it is. My friends laughter is in the background and I\u2019m thinking of this poem:<\/span><\/p>\n

\npeaches we devour, dusty skin and all,
\ncomes the familiar dust of summer, dust we eat.
\nO, to take what we love inside,
\nto carry within us an orchard, to eat
\nnot only the skin, but the shade,
\nnot only the sugar, but the days, to hold
\nthe fruit in our hands, adore it, then bite into
\nthe round jubilance of peach.
\nThere are days we live
\nas if death were nowhere
\nin the background; from joy
\nto joy to joy, from wing to wing,
\nfrom blossom to blossom to
